HTML Language

  • HTML stands for Hyper text Markup Language.
  • The first publicly available of HTML was a document called HTML Tags and first mentioned and developed by Berners-Lee in the late 1991.
  • HTML is a predominant markup language for web pages.
  • Usually for the file extension are .html and .htm.
  • There are many data types such as skript data and stylesheet data.
  • HTML elements are tags in an HTML documents it's as well as texts.
  • HTML elements are the basic componentsfor HTML markup and the elements have two basic properties which are attributes and contents.
  • HTML is a language called "marking" (from structuring or markup) whose role is to formalize writting a document with formatting tags.
  • There are six versions of HTML .
  • The latest version of HTMl is HTML 4.01 and it appeared on 24th December 1999 and they made some minor changes to HTML 4.0.
